Terms and Conditions

DapDap.ie ("dapdap", "we") is an events discovery platform operated from Westport, Ireland. People use it to find local events; organisers use it to promote them. By using dapdap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Keep your account details accurate and your credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone else.

• Only post events you have the right to promote, and keep the details accurate (date, venue, price).
• No unlawful, misleading, hateful, or adult content, and no spam.
• We may edit, hide, or remove any listing that breaks these rules or harms the platform, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.
• Listings may be reviewed by moderators before or after publication.

Browsing dapdap is free. Posting events is paid: €5 for a single event, €15 per month for unlimited posting, or €10 per month for small businesses arranged directly with us. Full details are on the pricing page.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. The fee pays for the listing service; it is not a commission on tickets.
• Paid listings remain subject to these terms and can be removed if they break them. If we remove a correctly paid listing in error, or you are charged twice, contact us and we will put it right, including a refund where appropriate.
• Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the current period.

Listings come from event organisers and, in some cases, from automated discovery of publicly available event information on the web. Details can change after publication. Always confirm critical details (time, venue, tickets, age limits) with the organiser. dapdap is not the organiser of listed events and is not responsible for cancellations, changes, ticket purchases made elsewhere, or your experience at an event.

You keep all rights to the content you post. By posting it you give dapdap a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and promote it on the platform and in dapdap's own marketing of the platform. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including images.

dapdap is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using dapdap and delete your account at any time (see the account deletion page). We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content licence for already published material, liability limits) survive account closure.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the date above always reflects the current version, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Questions? Contact andrew.dapdap@gmail.com.
